Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time patrol role in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor government site access, perform patrols, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned access points; verify credentials and direct visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, visitor access, and other security-related observations.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
