Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities accurately.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
