Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT. You will patrol premises, deter disturbances, and provide excellent tenant and visitor service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $20.12 per hour. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and submitting daily activity reports in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations and requests to the appropriate personnel.

What You'll Do

• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and requests to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
