Job summary

Allied Universal in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol to protect clients across a range of facilities. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, deter security incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication.

This role supports a dynamic logistics and distribution location with a daytime/evening schedule; you will complete incident reports and work with site personnel to maintain a welcoming

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.

• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.

• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
