As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility customers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related observations and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding operational concerns, incidents, and changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
