Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, notifying site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and assist with badge, entry, and delivery procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet tools as needed, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while embodying Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and assist with badge, entry, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
