Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Ambassador in Jacksonville, FL. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment.

The position offers full-time hours with daytime and evening shifts and a pay rate of $16.73 per hour, with opportunities for training and advancement within a people-first, integrity-driven team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
