Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a technology/location site.

Position offers a flexible schedule with pay rate of $16.73 per hour. Candidates should be comfortable with computer/tablet use and pass background and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading locations, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading locations, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
