Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol for a retail site in Seattle, WA. You will provide security, perform patrols, assist guests, tenants, and visitors, and uphold Allied Universal values.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol - Retail in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while embodying Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
