Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Armed Perimeter Patrol in Seattle, WA. This position involves patrolling the site, deterring incidents, responding to alarms, and delivering strong customer service to shoppers and store personnel.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid concealed carry permit and meet armed-guard licensing requirements. CPR/First Aid is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a valid firearms permit is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, observe activity for unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

• Fri: 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:
