Qualifications

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surroundings to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site personnel or responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and share information with leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
