Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol First Aid Response in Tampa, FL to safeguard clients across multiple facilities, including financial institutions. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor access, and respond to security concerns with professional customer service.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months in security, a high school diploma, and preferred CPR/First Aid certification. This is a full-time position with a daytime schedule and weekend rotations.

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures.

As a Security Officer Patrol First Aid Response in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
