Job summary

Allied Universal in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Security Guard for full-time patrol operations. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist employees and visitors, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

This full-time role offers daytime scheduling with opportunities for growth within a leading security and facilities services company. CPR certification is preferred, and a guard card or license may be preferred depending on position.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and campus stakeholders by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, and exterior grounds.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
• Prepare clear reports and logs of patrols and incidents.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media or technology campus stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
