Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Honolulu, HI. You will protect clients across utility locations, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, monitor access, and report incidents while delivering excellent customer service. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $22.28 per hour. Schedule includes Daytime shifts across multiple days, with a focus on safety and professional interaction

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required; licensing laws apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while enforcing security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters to identify hazards.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, document visitor activity, report concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate with responders.
• Complete incident reports and maintain patrol logs.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and emergency responders. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
