Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Driver Alarm Assessment) in San Jose, CA. You will monitor and safeguard clients and provide exemplary customer service while responding to alarms on a manufacturing and industrial site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help control entry to authorized areas within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and visitor or access activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thu: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
