Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Customer Accessin Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.


• Observe and report security-related concerns, including damaged fencing, unsecured doors, traffic hazards, and irregular activity, while maintaining detailed daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
