Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, docks, parking and perimeter.
• Verify credentials and document visitor, contractor and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Deter unauthorized activity by observing and reporting hazards to site contacts.

As a Security Officer Unarmed - General Duty in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Mon: 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by observing and reporting unusual conditions, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
