Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control in Round Rock, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and personnel while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate data center location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports, logs, and electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
