Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) in Dallas, TX, to patrol and protect commercial real estate sites. You will welcome tenants and guests, perform access control duties, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Role requires at least a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Training and career growth opportunities are provided by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Support in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
