Responsabilidades

• Deter unauthorized entry by monitoring inbound/outbound traffic and freight activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and responders as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and facility perimeter and document observations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Hanahan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer-based systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and provide customer-focused assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related incidents by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery drivers and freight activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
