Responsibilities

• Monitor restricted areas and verify visitor/contractor authorization with logs.
• Communicate observations and security concerns to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver for Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and security-related concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
