Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a security professional in Lemont, IL. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $20.85 per hour and a fixed 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM schedule, with duties including customer service and security procedures to protect people and property.

You will respond to incidents, perform patrols of the facility, monitor access, and report hazards while following site protocols.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the chemical and petrochemical facility, including operational areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Observe and report potential hazards, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
