Allied Universal, Deer Park, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time with TWIC credential intake driving responsibilities at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will contribute to client security and provide excellent customer service while performing access control and patrols.

The role offers a $1,000 hiring bonus and pays $15.50 per hour. Pre-employment requirements include a valid driver’s license, TSA TWIC, and compliance with background and drug screening policies.

Qualifications

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining logs, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Document activities, incidents, observations, and access-control exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
