Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer TWIC Credential Validation in Alvin, TX. You will protect a chemical and petrochemical location, monitor access, and perform patrols while delivering excellent customer service.

Position is full-time with a schedule Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You will participate in incident response, site checks, and documentation of activity and maintenance concerns, reporting to Allied Universal

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify credentials for visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Maintain daily activity reports and communicate observations to site contacts.

As a Security Officer TWIC Credential Validation in Alvin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, conduct routine site checks, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, processing areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
