Qualifications

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees per access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization before access to designated facilities.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain access logs, report discrepancies or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving, coordinating with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas.

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by following site‑specific access‑control procedures and security‑related policies.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization before permitting access to designated facilities, yards, docks, and restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for vehicles and pedestrians, maintain accurate access logs, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
