Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credential Control. You will manage access at a logistics site, verify credentials, monitor activity, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Shifts include a variety of day/evening hours; on-site work at a distribution location in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Possess Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• State/city security license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization before permitting access to designated facilities, yards, docks, and restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for vehicles and pedestrians, maintain accurate access logs, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and operational areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
