Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time TWIC in Savannah, GA. You will safeguard clients across industries, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access controls, and respond to incidents with professionalism. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a TSA-issued TWIC, with a background check and drug screen as part of employment.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $18.00 per hour. Schedule includes early morning shifts Sun–Mon.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while executing site-specific security procedures and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports and communicate observations with leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
