Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Site Access in Savannah, GA. You will protect clients across industries, perform access control, monitor premises, and deter security incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers flexible scheduling, with part-time shifts and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Candidates should have at least six months of security experience, a TSA TWIC, and a valid

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver7;s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver7;s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while communicating professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.
