Job summary

Allied Universal in Fremont, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Service Desk to monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at an automotive manufacturing location. You will conduct patrols, respond to alarms, manage access points, and document observations for leadership, while upholding safety, integrity, and teamwork.

This role requires 1 year security experience, CPR preferred, and a high school diploma, with opportunities for growth and training

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary across the location.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
