Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Credential Operations in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Our Security Officers support a dynamic automotive location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining access control, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility, including business areas, production-related locations, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help maintain authorized entry procedures for personnel, visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Document incidents, observations and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
