Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Applicants will undergo background checks as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and access control policies.
• Monitor and verify credentials for authorized individuals; issue visitor passes and maintain entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access; screen deliveries and direct people to designated areas.
• Respond calmly to alarms, unauthorized entries, incidents, and emergencies; notify site contacts or responders when needed.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of access points, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter to deter incidents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors; issue visitor passes and maintain accurate entry and exit records as required.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, including screening deliveries and directing individuals to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
