Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in New Stanton, PA. You will screen visitors and personnel, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

You will deliver professional customer service, verify credentials, and deter incidents through a visible presence, supporting diverse clients in Tech/Media/Telecom sectors.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening protocols.
• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited items and unusual activity to site contacts.
• Verify credentials and authorized access for visitors, vendors, and contractors while maintaining visitor/screening records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and entry points to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in New Stanton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening protocols.


• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.


• Verify credentials and authorized access for visitors, vendors, and contractors while maintaining accurate visitor and screening documentation.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and reporting requirements.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Access control/badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
