Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining a professional lobby and access-control presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer-based systems, communicate professionally, and help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
