Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Response in Independence, KY. You will protect client sites, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service within a logistics and distribution environment.

As an unarmed officer you will follow site procedures, respond to incidents, document observations, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while upholding Allied Universal values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in security or customer service preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and respond calmly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and movements of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries per site rules.

As a Security Officer Full Time Response in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
