As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution site, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a teamwork-focused approach.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers follow site entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
