Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Information Desk in Oak Brook, IL. You will greet tenants and visitors, screen individuals, manage access, and maintain visit records at a premier commercial real estate lobby.

Responsibilities include monitoring lobby activity, operating access-control systems and cameras, responding to incidents calmly, and supporting day-to-day operations. Valid state licensing and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate building personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering phones, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and communicating building information to authorized individuals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
