Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Entrancein Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support a professional, secure environment while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and team members. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, manage access processes, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor logs and related records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems from a stationary front desk post, reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate professionally with building management, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
