As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will help create a welcoming, professional environment by managing access, greeting visitors, supporting badge processes, and responding to security-related concerns. Using strong communication and customer service skills, you will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture while working with integrity and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a commercial real estate location, assisting tenants, visitors, and vendors with access procedures and general information.
• Monitor visitor entry, maintain accurate visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and communicate arrivals to appropriate tenant contacts.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, including access control, key or package handling, and documentation of daily activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe activity in the lobby and adjacent entry areas, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
