Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check required by laws.

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Coordination in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and communicate professionally with tenants and guests. You will help maintain a secure, customer-focused environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial office property by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby access, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or other site equipment; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide information and assistance to building occupants, and complete required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
