Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Systems Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service at a commercial real estate location.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour. Schedule includes Daytime shifts; you will work with a team to maintain a professional, safe front desk environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver''s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at the front desk; carry out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property; verify visitor credentials; maintain logs; direct guests per building protocols.
• Answer and route calls; provide general building information; communicate with property management and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly; follow established procedures.
• Observe front desk activity; report unusual conditions; complete daily activity and incident reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to established building protocols.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide general building information, and communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
