Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Protective Patrol in Scranton, PA. You will serve clients across Retail/Malls and surrounding areas, patrolling assigned zones, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering superior customer service.

Schedule includes evening shifts from Monday to Sunday, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Subject to background checks in line with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal complies with laws regarding applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and customer concerns, escalating according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and loss prevention concerns, reporting observations to site leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while upholding a professional, welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Mon: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting a professional, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
