Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Patrol Visibility) in Seattle, WA. You will monitor and safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom sites, delivering a visible presence to deter incidents and provide excellent customer service.

The role includes routine patrols, access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations; may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly; document observations and notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, perimeters, parking, and other designated areas to spot unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor-management procedures to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Complete activity, incident, and shift reports accurately and on time.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Visibility in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
