Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Security in Harrisburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a retail beverage sales location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer activity for suspicious behavior, prohibited conduct, and/or potential theft, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding incidents, hazards, and unusual activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
