• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain logs, and communicate observations to leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.55 / Hour

Security Experience:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of six months of relevant security experience prior to employment. This experience should be verifiable and relevant to the position for which the candidate is applying.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 12:30 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, student, and staff access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
