Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Communicate incident details to site contacts and leadership as appropriate.

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Response Driver in Gonzales, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observed conditions, policy concerns, and incident details to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
