As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:59 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:59 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and driver credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and other required activity.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
