Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks as required by federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies; assist in emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of medical office areas, waiting rooms, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management; direct patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate respectfully while reporting maintenance and security issues.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of medical office areas, waiting rooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating respectfully with individuals in a healthcare setting and reporting maintenance, access control, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
