As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
