Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations and incidents, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist with access control and badge-related activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
