Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Irvine, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. Swing shift schedules and a competitive hourly pay rate of $20.50 are offered.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and per escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports with a professional presence at the location.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Checks in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity, property concerns, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
